Amanda Lourenco Nunes is a well-known Brazilian fighter in mixed martial arts. She is a 30-year-old woman who started her MMA career on March 8, 2008. Unfortunately, she didn't win her first match.

In 2016, Amanda Nunes made history by achieving a remarkable victory over Miesha Tate in the 1st round of their fight. She used a powerful chokehold called the rear-naked choke, which secured her win. This victory also marked an important milestone, 

 On December 30, 2018, during UFC 232, she achieved a significant victory over Cris Cyborg. In this match, Amanda Nunes won the featherweight championship and became the first female champion in a UFC fight.

Amanda Nunes successfully defended her Bantamweight title in an impressive match held at UFC 289 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She won against Irene Aldana. Following this win, Amanda Nunes announced her retirement from the sport.
