Ferdinand Porsche, the founder, initially provided design services for automotive parts to other companies but further decided to produce its own car.

The Porsche 356, which was created by Ferry Porsche (the son of Ferdinand Porsche), was the first car produced and sold under the Porsche brand in 1948.

The 911 model of Porsche car, well known for its driving experience, was introduced in 1963 which is the company’s signature sports car.

Porsche has expanded its product line over many years by introducing many new models like Boxster, Cayenne, and Panamera.

The Cayenne S Diesel, a Porsche SUV model, is considered one of the most  powerful vehicles on the market and has even demonstrated its strength  by towing an airplane weighing 285 tons.

It expanded its operations and sports cars around the world and maintains its strong presence in the market.

In 2019, Porsche embraced electric technology and introduced its first-ever electronic sports car, the Taycan.
